Trade Interests

In an effort to engage in a gift & barter economy, I maintain an Amazon Seasonal “Trade Interests” Gift List to identify items in new condition we are personally interested in along with a list below of items we’d appreciate either new or second-hand in good condition.

  • Physical Games/Activities: chess/checkerboard sets, playing cards, board games, jigsaw puzzles, coloring books, activity puzzle books
  • Hard Copy Media: books, movie DVDs, VHS tapes, music CDs, LP records, audio cassette tapes
  • Office/School Writing Supplies: college ruled paper (looseleaf, spirals, composition books), ball point pens (black/blue), #2 pencils, highlighters, pink erasers, clear 8.5″ x 11″ protective sheets, 3″ x 5″ cards, card stock, clear adhesive tape, scissors
  • Sewing Supplies: sewing basket, pinking shears, scissors, safety pins, strait pins, sewing machine oil, clothing patterns, fabric, buttons, zippers, thread, bobbins
  • Needlework Supplies: yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks, embroidery floss, knit/crochet patterns, cross stitch fabric
  • Stationery Supplies: greeting cards, notecards, writing paper, envelopes, invitations
  • Arts/Crafts Supplies: chip board, permanent markers, wood glue, paper glue
  • Food Preservation Supplies: Mason jars, lids & rings (wide & regular mouth), oxygen absorbers, mylar bags

Also, some places we go that offer gift cards are: Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, Exxon/Mobil and Aldi’s.
