New Website for Carrie (Not Kelly)

In 2024 I started a Substack under the name CarrieNotKelly as a way for me to build an email list and communicate with those wanting to remain in touch with us via email.

Over the past year, I used that platform to share some of what was going on in my personal life. I didn’t really have a publication strategy or even a marketing strategy to bring on new subscribers. I was just feeling my way through it, as I worked heavily on revamping and building out this WiggleCulture website.

After taking the last several months off from writing much on-line, I came up with my new human connections plan. This involved launching a new website: CarrieNotKelly.com earlier this month. Its tagline is Pursuing a More Natural Way of Life.

I moved my “Meet Carrie (not Kelly)” page from here to there. And I optimized the new site’s homepage for search engines to deliver those looking for a friend on the Internet.

My aim for this year (2025) has been to work on developing a personal community around my family, starting with myself at the core. I want to build a human resource network and develop bonds of trust wherever possible.

Naturally, I’m working with the relationships I’m already in. But I’m also seeking to use the Internet to find & connect with others who share our same values.

However, I don’t want to live on the Internet — meaning I don’t want to spend any more time on here than is necessary. I’m continually working towards going old school, and I want to encourage others to do the same.

So, I plan to take all that I have available to me right now and make the most of it in a very strategic way.
